His father was diagnosed with cancer in 1997 and died in 2004. He studied at Shri Ram Ashram Senior Secondary School. Then he admitted into Hindu College in Amritsar. She also studied at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. He has a brother named Ashok Kumar Sharma and a sister named Pooja.
